I have been thinking about the kinds of items I might want to blog about here and so far I have identifed a few categories:

• current practice
• philosophy of education
• teaching as a profession
• education and society

so if you fancy reading musings on any one of those, or want to help explore practice ideas then check in evey now and then!

Isn’t this the eternal question? *grins* but I do have an answer this time – if I scope the question a little that is.  I am blogging here because someone who I have never met was kind enough to reply to a post of mine on a work forum when I thought I was just shouting into the cybervoid.  As I was telling her about how I was using blogs with my students, I found myself saying – I guess I should blog about this myself – and so here I am.  Thank you, Anne!
